By visiting this website you agree that you consent to and are bound by the following terms and conditions:

Purchasing a ticket is acceptance of our rules of play and the following terms and conditions:

• No refunds will be given, this includes unattended bookings and booking errors.
• Once booked reservations cannot be refunded but may be transferred if more than 24 hours notice is given in writing to activemonkeysfleet@gmail.com
• Please arrive no more than 5 mins before your scheduled booking time and ensure you leave promptly at the end of your session to help us with cleaning time and turn around. Please note the door may be closed and will only open 5 minutes before the session starts.
• Please order food within the first hour of your play session.
• Prices may differ on the door if you have not pre-booked your play session and entry is not guaranteed.

Booking a party is acceptance of our rules of play and the following terms and conditions (as well as the above Indoor Play Terms and Conditions):

To book a party a non refundable deposit is required at the time of booking, if a party is cancelled with at least 24 hours notice no refund will be given, but the party can be re-arranged for another date convenient to both parties.

Balance due 2 weeks prior to party date,no balances can be refunded, but may be rescheduled to a future date.

No refunds are given for any children that fail to attend, however please only pay for confirmed numbers 2-3 more can be paid for on the day.

Minimum of 10 children includes the birthday child, to be paid for.

Parents are included in the party free of charge, there are no restriction in numbers but the overall party group (adults and children) cannot exceed max capacity. (Please enquire if you need to know max capacity).

Only food or drink purchased on our premises is to be consumed on site. Outside food cannot be consumed on the premises, with the exception of birthday cake (which can only be brought into the play centre if you’re booked in for an official exclusive hire party). The birthday cake is to be cut and eaten in the exclusive use party room only or taken away.

Birthday cakes cannot be brought onto the premises unless a party has been booked with Active Monkeys.

Mascots/costumes/entertainers are only permitted if a party has been booked. Entertainers must stay in exclusive use party room only and have appropriate insurance and licensing.

Booking procedure:

1. 2 weeks before your party you will be required to confirm numbers (we understand these are still subject to change so please let us know in advance if the numbers for your party increase so we can ensure there is sufficient staff and that the tables are set up and the correct amount of food is prepared).

2. Please tell us of any food allergies at the time of confitmation and if any adult Platters or high chairs are required.

3. If you have more party children on the day than originally paid for, we require these to be paid for along with any cafe tab at the end of the party. Any extra siblings, play entry will be added to the party bill.

4. Party tables are reserved, the party room and entire venue is available for 1.5 hours.

5.The party parent/guests to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes prior to the party.

6.The party parent and guests are responsible for all children and should make sure the children are aware of the rules of play, by law children are to be supervised by 1 parent/guardian per 8 children.

7.Presents are the property of parents, please keep your belongings with you at all times.

8.The party parent should make sure all children are dressed appropriately and wear socks.

9.The party parent can bring cake and candles (No Firework candles/Cake Fountains or sparklers are permitted) and may bring extra balloons, napkins, party tableware or party bags – No decorations/blue tack/pins are permitted on the walls of the party rooms as this may cause damage.

10. The party parent will ensure that all children are collected by their parents/guardians, that the party room is vacated on time at the end of the party and that all guests safely leave the building.

11.If you have any feedback/complaints please report to your party host who can hopefully resolve this. If there is an issue that they cannot resolve, please report it to a supervisor/manager, and in the event that the issue cannot be dealt with by the Manager, they will escalate the issue to the Area Manager for resolution.

Please also note that if you choose to complete the post-party feedback survey, we may publish/post this review, for instance on our website, or on our social media pages.

The party host will:

12.Reserve tables in the play centre, greet your party parents/guests and assist with presents.

13. Provide unlimited jugs of squash/water throughout the party.

14.Take food choices and bring food to the party room.

15.Not be responsible for, or entertain the children.

16. Assist with the birthday cake and candles.

17.Take any outstanding balance/party tab.

Food Options:

Party Menu Hot food option for up to 10 party children.

• Chicken Nuggets • Pizza • Served with crisps.

Please note party food may be substituted, depending on the availability of stock.

If you have any allergies/intolerances (e.g. gluten or dairy free) or other dietary requirements (e.g. vegetarian or halal), please let us know before the party, as we can cater for most of these requirements. Please make sure you make us aware of any allergens, and ask staff for advice.

Booking an exclusive hire is acceptance of our rules of play and the following terms and conditions:

In these Terms and Conditions, the term ‘the user’ shall include the person hiring Active Monkeys and any person or organisation on whose behalf the booking is made, all of whom shall be jointly and severally liable.

A deposit is required to secure a private hire booking. The balance is due before or on the party date. The deposit will be refunded at the end of the event, upon adherence to the Terms and Conditions and if the party has ended by the time stated. In the event of cancellation, the booking deposit is non-refundable.

If a party is cancelled within two weeks (but with at least 24 hours’ notice) of the party date, no refund will be given but the party can be arranged for another date convenient to both the user and Active Monkeys.

Purchasing a membership is acceptance of our rules of play and the following terms and conditions:

1. All sessions must be booked online at www.activemonkeys.com

2. All adults and children must be booked/paid for.

3. A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel bookings.

4.All siblings are chargeable or require sibling membership, including newborns or babies under the age of 1 year old.

5.Membership payments, Monthly payment and Admin fees are Non-refundable First month plus admin fee paid upfront for direct debit memberships, you are committing to a minimum of 12 months payments, one month’s notice (from payment date) must be given via email to cancel monthly payment after one year

6.Rules of play and Covid guidance rules apply at all times – Active Monkeys reserve the right to terminate Members Pass for any breach of rules or terms and conditions

7.No preferential treatment will be given to members. Entry to Active Monkeys remains on a first come, first served basis. If fully booked online, in case of changing opening hours or early close, no compensation will be paid.

8.Management reserve the right to update or change the terms and conditions with one months notice via email

Purchasing a childminder membership is acceptance of our rules of play and the following terms and conditions:

1. All memberships must be booked online at www.activemonkeys.co.uk

2.Pass available to OFSTED registered childminders, proof of OFSTED number will be required to take out childminder members pass along with Photo ID such as a driving license or passport.

3.Play entry access is restricted to Monday to Friday Term Time only, no entry at weekends.

4.Photos will be stored on the system – for identification in line with GDPR.

5.The pass allows 1 childminder to bring in 4 children. The pass can only be used by the registered childminder pictured on the system. Only 1 adult per membership, additional adults must be paid for.

6. Timetable of activities included (cost may apply to external class providers). Special events are excluded.

7. All membership payments are to be paid upfront and are non-refundable.

8. Rules of play apply at all times – Active Monkeys reserve the right to terminate Members Pass for any breach of rules or terms and conditions.

9. Photo ID must be complied with. Members Pass is not transferable.

10. Management reserve the right to update or change the terms and conditions with one months notice via email.
